Raining Cats and Dogs

It's rained the hardest today that it has since we've lived here and guess what...no slugs! The last two times it's rained we've found very nice slugs in our house including one that was about 6 inches long (the biggest slug I've ever seen). It rained all day and it was of course one of Mommy's late days. But the kids did good and played well.

I did learn to keep a closer eye on the kids when they come into our bedroom and I'm working on my computer. Aggie came in today and found the power button on my UPS which shut down everything immediately, losing all my work. She knew better than touching but she had no idea what she'd done until I reacted. She had to sit on her bed a bit, but I think my reaction alone made the point.

I think Munchkin will be the one we get to take to the ER the most. She has no fear and loves to climb up anything and everything. Today it was a tub, a chair, a bed, etc... She took a tumble off the tub but it only slowed her down for about 5 minutes.

The weekend was rough with all five of us sick. The antibiotics are kicking in on the girls so we are seeing improvement. But we were all stretched thin and couldn't get to church with their germs. Mom did get a lot of cleaning and organizing done so now I have my work cut out for me (keeping everything straight).

Tomorrow Mom gets to work just half a day and then she's done for the week. So we're looking forward to a nice holiday week with family.
